Feature wedding story
Jon and I had been together for 8 years when we got engaged and we are both shy people so when the wedding planning started we figured a very small no fuss ceremony would be for us. I had started looking for a nice simple dress when on my daily commute to work I heard a promo on The Edge saying "would you like to win a beautiful Jessica Bridal wedding gown, just text bride to 3343". I thought why not, texted and thought nothing of it. Then a call came saying all I had to do was make a newspaper and plastic bag wedding dress and parade it down Queen St with the other entrants. So after a very nervous walk down Queen St and watching the voting for a week, I WON!!
I didn't have a set idea of what I wanted in a dress, but after looking through a huge number of the most gorgeous wedding dresses I found The One. Jessica made the process so easy and produced the most gorgeous wedding dress that fitted perfectly.
On our big day held on Valentine’s Day on an amazing Northland beach called Henderson Bay, what was supposed to be a small event turned into the most perfect day of my life. With all our family there to enjoy it with us. The only thing that outshone the scenery was my amazing dress. I felt like a true princess.
So thanks so much to Jessica, The Edge and Bride and Groom magazine for helping to making my wedding so perfect. And now we move on to our next adventure with a baby due in August!
